Sealey PP40E 40A Plasma Cutter for Higher-Capacity Workshop Cutting
For fabrication, repair and maintenance jobs where a smaller cutter starts to feel limited, the Sealey PP40E offers a stronger 40A 230V inverter plasma cutting option. It is designed for workshops and garages that need clean cutting performance across common metals while still keeping the machine portable enough for everyday use.
The PP40E uses inverter power supply technology with plasma cutter control circuitry and a 20-40A power output range. It is suitable for cutting steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminium, copper and brass, making it a more versatile choice for users working across varied repair and fabrication materials.
A digital amp display, gas regulator and front panel LED indicators help with setup and monitoring during use. The 12mm maximum cutting thickness places it above lighter 25A units, while the 60% duty cycle at 40A supports more demanding cutting sessions when the correct supply and air requirements are met.
Choose the PP40E when cutting capacity and metal versatility matter more than the smallest possible machine. To achieve maximum power, a 32A supply may be required, so the electrical installation should be checked before purchase or use.
